Ronald Dean Walker

Ronald Dean Walker, 76, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018.

He was born February 10, 1941, in Seneca, Missouri, the son of Nathan and Agnes (Frye) Walker.

Ronald was a graduate of Seneca High School and Washburn University, receiving his degree in Business Administration. He retired from the United States Air Force. Following retirement, he worked in a variety of sales positions.

Ronald was a life-time member of the Washburn University Alumni Association. He enjoyed traveling, reading, and music. When Ronald was able, he spent time volunteering at the VA Hospital.

Ronald married Novella Hildebrant and later divorced. He then married Gloria Norris and they later divorced. Ronald then married Sheila A. Heine on August 11, 1999, in Gardens of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She survives.

Other survivors include daughters, Leslie Walker and Angela (Jeff Hobday) Walker; step-daughter, Jodie (Clay Kuhn) Heine-Kuhn; grandchildren, Sierra, Isabella, and Sadie Hobday; and step-grandchildren, Trevor Heine and Morgan Kuhn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and step-daughter, Lorrie Heine-Saurez.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 2, 2018, at Bethlehem Cemetery, Snokomo Road near Paxico, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army, 1320 SE 6th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66607, Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 67684, Topeka, Kansas 66622, or Washburn University Foundation, 1729 SW MacVicar Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
