Susan Martin, 65, of Topeka, passed away Monday, October 5, 2020.
She was born March 29, 1955, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of William Keith and Shirley Jean (Boies) Holt. She received a Bachelor's degree in education from Kansas State University.
Susan was employed by several schools, including Unified School District 501.
Mrs. Martin was a member of the Crestview United Methodist Church of Topeka. She was an avid Kansas State and Kansas City Chiefs fan; loved sewing and gardening and spending time with her grandkids.
Susan married Robert F. Martin on May 6, 1989 in Topeka. Survivors include her husband; her mother Shirley Jean Holt; children Mike Martin of Topeka and Clarissa Martin; five grandchildren; sister Cindy Holt (Kalynn) and brother Mike Holt; and several nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her father Keith and her brother Bruce Holt.
Susan was cremated. A memorial ceremony will be held at a future date.
Memorial contributions may be made to local Head Start through the Community Action Wheatley Center at 2400 SE Highland Avenue, Topeka, KS 66605.
