William Robert Lewis, Jr., 36, of Topeka, passed away from this earthly life and into eternal life with Christ on Sunday, December 5, 2021. He was born November 8, 1985 in Topeka, the son of William Robert and Gwendolyn Elaine (Henderson) Lewis, Sr.
William graduated from Topeka West High School and attended Washburn University. He was a Certified Welder working in Atchison, Kansas until he could no longer work. William was baptized at an early age and he was a life-long member of the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Topeka.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to William. He loved just being around family and friends. His personality was contagious to everyone he met, he was always smiling and his dimples were always to be seen.
William was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and he never missed watching football with a Bud Light in hand. His favorite pastimes included spitting a rap that only he could do. He wrote his own lyrics and his flavor was similar to Twista, he could really flow. If you wanted to shoot craps, he would always come out on top. He was said to have been a lucky one, at least that's what you wanted to believe when you lost. William will be truly missed by all who loved and adored him.
William was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn and his paternal grandmother, Ruby Jackson.
