Jacqueline Sue "Jackie" Scott, 60, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at a local hospital.
Jackie was born September 21, 1961 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of James Shipley and Wanda Pierce. She attended Enterprise Academy in Enterprise.
She was employed at Burlington Northern Railroad, Blue Cross & Blue Shield and most recently as a paraprofessional with the Seaman School District, Transportation department.
Survivors include her children, Jessica Scheidt, Michelle (Dustin) DeWeese, Christopher Scott, Mariah Scott; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Michael Shipley, Scott Shipley, Stephen Shipley and Shawn Shipley; sisters, Melinda Shipley, Sherry Barber, JoRita Barker; mother, Wanda Pierce; and step-mother, Sue Shipley. She was preceded in death by her father, James Arthur Shipley and brother, James Benjamin Shipley.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. A Celebration of Life will follow at The Pennant, 915 S. Kansas Avenue, Topeka from 7-10pm.
