Debra Richter "Deb" Rundquist, 70, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
She was born February 13, 1952, in Alma, Kansas, the daughter of Edward and Norma (Wohler) Richter. She graduated from Alma High School in 1970 and received a nursing degree from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Wichita, Kansas in 1974.
Debra was employed by the Kansas Neurological Institute for 13 years, retiring in 2003.
Debra married Donald Roger Rundquist on June 10, 1972 in Alma, KS. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2010. Survivors include their children, Mindy Atkins of Topeka, and Wade Rundquist (Tiffany Burget) of Hoyt, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her siblings, Kurt, Doug, and Ryan.
Debra enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and playing with her dogs. She enjoyed taking care of people.
Debra was cremated. A memorial ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 31st, 2022 at the Dove Cremations and Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road in Topeka. The family will receive friends for an hour before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, KS 66604-3720.
