Sandra S. "Sandy" Robbins, 77, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born September 8, 1945 in Topeka, the daughter of Richard B. and Jennie (Mann) Hoffer.
Sandy graduated from Highland Park High School and attended Washburn University and Hays Hairdressing School. She was a Hairstylist for Indian Hills Styling Salon for over 40 years. She was a member of lifetime of Grace United Methodist Church, the American Business Women's Association, the Humane Society of the United States and the World Wildlife Federation.
Survivors include children, Cheri L. LaFleur of Texas, Diana K. (Paul) Thomas of Iowa, Carrie L. (Thomas) Miller of Topeka, six grandchildren, Jade, Macey, Blake, Nicki, Brittany and Brianna, four great-grandchildren, Korbin, Kaiden, Emery and Finley and her brother, Russell Hoffer of Lecompton.
Sandy was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Don LaFleur and her brother, Robert Hoffer.
A Celebration of Sandy's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Private inurnment will take place in Topeka Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606 or to the Humane Society of the United States, 1255 23rd Street Northwest, Suite 450, Washington, DC 20037.
