Nadine May McClelland Manley was born on February 8, 1935 in Independence, Missouri. She went home to be with her Lord on September 4, 2023. She was the daughter of George and Nellie (Nye) McClelland. She has a surviving sister, Connie Kingore, and two other siblings who preceded her in death: George Jr. and Bill McClelland.

Nadine attended Ottawa and Washburn Universities. She was a teacher, a matchmaker, an artist, a friend, and a caretaker to all she knew.

Survivors include two daughters, Becky Chambers and Linda (Sarah) Manley-Ruiz; one grandson, Cassidy Schmidt; and her dear friend and companion Ernie Reed.

A celebration of life will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at West Side Baptist Church, 4th & Fillmore, Topeka. A luncheon will follow.
