Timothy David "Tim" Savage
1967 - 2023
Timothy David “Tim” Savage, 56, of Vassar, Kansas, passed away September 18, 2023, from complications due to a serious vehicle accident.
Tim was born March 12, 1967, in Rapid City. He was adopted by Glenn and Clara (Cunningham) Savage from Hub City, South Dakota. He graduated from Spirit Lake, Iowa, High School. Tim graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College with an Associate Degree in Business. Tim also served with the Army National Guard based in Spencer, Iowa. Most currently, Tim has been a route driver for Exodus of Burlingame.
Tim’s pride and joy is his granddaughter Aurora Lynn Klingman. His home was filled with bald eagles and bison.
Left to mourn his passing are daughter Nicole Klingman and Zach of Osage City, KS, granddaughter Aurora Klingman, son Christopher Klingman of Olathe, KS, girlfriend Kim Jenkins of Vassar, KS, mother Clara Savage of Milford, IA, sister Laurian (Rody) Pederson of Milford, IA, brother Paul (Marcy) Savage of Spirit Lake, IA, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation is planned. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 21, from 2:00 to 5:00pm at Lutheran Lakeside Camp, old dining hall, 2491 - 170th St., Spirit Lake, Iowa. Dove Cremations & Funerals, Southeast Chapel in Topeka is assisting the family.
