Ronald David โ€œRonโ€ Savilonis, 83, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023.

He was born July 24, 1940, in Newton, Massachusetts, the son of John and Ruth (Wainwright) Savilonis. He graduated from Natick High School in 1959 and served in the Air Force from 1960 to 1964.

Ron worked in the automotive air conditioning industry for over 50 years with the last 15 years spent with Universal Air Conditioning of Texas as a Returns Validation Technician, retiring in 2018.

Ron married Georgia Ann Fellers on June 7, 1986 in Bedford, TX. She survives, along with his children Kim (Shane) Howbert, Karla Brooks-Miltz (and partner Josh), and Kevin (Lori) Fellers of Kansas; Tammy (Kelly) Mixon, Lynn (Kenneth) Tabor and David (Margaret) Savilonis of Texas; grandchildren Lacey (Blake), Tanner, Kyle (Shelby), Dillon, Layne, Melissa, Trey (Murray), Wes (Mary), Dallas, Steven (Courtney), Kevin (Juila), Megan (Bobby), Morgan, Pallyn (Kyle), Payton, and Justin; several great-grandchildren; siblings Carol Bartholomew, Ruth English and Debbie (Gary) Naville of Texas; Rosemary (Ray) Clement and John (Marsha) Savilonis of Massachusetts; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ruth Savilonis; two brothers Robert and Eddie Savilonis, all from Massachusetts; and grandson Chad Miltz of Kansas.

Ron loved the water, food, the Cowboys and Chiefs and playing dice with the grandchildren who loved him dearly. He lived in Texas for 58 years and his last five years in Kansas. He enjoyed his retirement years spending his time with family at the lake, cookouts and get-togethers.

Ron was cremated. A celebration of life reception will be held on Sunday, December 3rd from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Auburn Civic Center, 1020 N. Washington Street in Auburn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or online at their website.
