Sara L. Pittman, 50, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024. She was born April 11, 1974 in Topeka, the daughter of Garran M. and Ruth E. (Street) Allison.

Sara graduated from Shawnee Heights High School. She was employed as a Paraprofessional Educator by Shawnee Heights USD 450 at Berryton Elementary for the past 16 years. Sara enjoyed working with the staff at Berryton and she loved each and every one of her students.

Sara married Johnny M. Pittman on June 10, 2012, in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include children, Brady Wilson of Topeka, Alex (Kevin Loya) Wilson of Kansas City, Kansas, Peyton Wilson of Topeka and Max Pittman of Topeka, her parents, Garran and Ruth Allison of Tecumseh, her sister, Amy (Eric) Boyles of Topeka and one niece, Sami Boyles and one nephew, Kyle Boyles both of Topeka.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Burial will follow in Washington Creek Cemetery southeast of Topeka. This is a day to celebrate Sara, she loved to laugh, and she loved color, bling and her flip flops. The family encourages you to wear something colorful that makes you happy or that you feel good in.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st St., Topeka, Kansas 66604.
