Bruce Taylor Clemmons, 68, of Topeka, KS passed away Oct. 27, 2011. He was born in St. Paul, MN on Oct. 19, 1943, the son of Mary Jane and Ross T Clemmons. His parents, as well as Steven J. Clemmons preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Meryce Rookstool Clemmons, whom he married on Feb 28, 1972; daughter, Tedi and son-in-law Geoff Spice; grandson, Austin Spice; granddaughter, Lindsey Schwartz; great-granddaughter and name sake Taylor Mae Herrera; brother and sister-in-law, Ross and Marie Clemmons; brother, Richard Clemmons; sisters, Linda Neely and Mary Jane Myers.
Some of you may remember Bruce as the fun loving owner and gregarious host of Picasso, Grasshoppers or Peppers. Others may have known him through the various automobile companies he owned. So in keeping with his lifestyle, friends are invited to attend a Celebration of his Life at Harley Davidson, Topeka, KS for food and drink on Tuesday, Nov 1, 2011 from 6-9 p.m.
Cremation is planned and a private ceremony will be held on the beach of his Florida Keys home at a later date.
