Aaron C. Kinmon

Aaron C. Kinmon, Jr. 82, of Topeka, went to be with his Lord on Monday, December 29, 2014. He was born February 5, 1932 in San Saba, TX, the son of Aaron C. and Tommie Kinmon, Sr.
Aaron graduated from Blackshear High School in San Angelo, TX. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was employed by the State of Kansas for several years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Aaron married Billie Shields. She preceded him in death on May 2, 1981. He was preceded in death by two sons, John F. Kinmon, Sr. and Randy Woods and his nephew, Ekely Bracy.
Survivors include one brother, George W. (Trudy) Kinmon of Las Vegas, NV, his children, Marsha (Joseph) Kingcannon of Topeka, Michelle Posey of Topeka, De Anna Kinmon of Kansas City, KS, Cindy (Wayne) Kinmon of Kansas City, KS, Keith (Shawnta) Kinmon of San Angelo, TX, La'Ron Kinmon of Topeka, Edwina Wilcox of Topeka and Emrick Wilcox of Chicago, IL, 26 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Noon Friday, January 2, 2015 at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is assisting the family.
