Adonis Jordandecarlo May

Adonis Jordan DeCarlo May, 20, of East St. Louis, IL, formerly of Topeka, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 in East St. Louis, IL. He was born October 2, 1991 in Topeka, the son of Darylrion May and Alisha Green. He graduated from East St. Louis Sr. High in 2009.

Adonis enjoyed playing basketball, football and spending time with his son, Tyree. He also treasured time that he was able to spend with his sisters, which included eating Chinese food with his sister, Paryss and watching movies with his big sister, Mya. Among the many things that will be missed about Adonis will be his beautiful and infectious smile that would light up any room that he entered.

Left to cherish his memories include his mother, Alisha Green of Topeka, his father, Darylrion May of Ft. Worth, TX, his son, Tyree May of Aurora, CO, his siblings, Mya Green and Paryss May, both of Topeka, his paternal grandmother, Mary May of East St. Louis, IL, his maternal grandmother, JoLydia Beaver of Topeka, his maternal grandfathers, Rene` Esquibel of Houston, TX, and Robert Green of Topeka, maternal great-grandparents, Joe and Carol Beaver of Topeka and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Adonis will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
