Alan P. Mason

Alan P. Mason, 58, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Midland Hospice House. He was born July 15, 1960 in Barre, Vermont, the son of Henry E. and Winsome H. (Bruce) Mason.

Alan graduated from Spaulding High School in Barre. He had resided in Topeka since 1979. He was employed by Falley's Grocery Store, Frito Lay and Dillon's Grocery Store.

Alan married Janice Hennessey. They later divorced.

Survivors include one son, Riley Mason of Topeka, his siblings, Bonnie Jalbert of Barre, Vermont, Bruce (Kathleen) Mason of Topeka, Larry (Brenda) Mason of Topeka, Peter (Janet) Mason of Scottsdale, Arizona, Stephen (Kathy) Mason of Topeka, Sheila (Cliff) Mason of Barre, Vermont, Jackie Mason of Barre, Vermont, his brother-in-law, David Trask of Topeka and numerous nieces and nephews.

Alan was preceded in death by his sister, Sally Martin on October 20, 2017.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
