Alena (Cook) Patterson, 54, widow of Gene Patterson, passed away October 4, 2015. She was born September 6, 1961 to Larry F. and Carolyn J. (Uhl) Cook.
Alena enjoyed traveling the states playing on her drums with Gypsy Gene & The Tennessee Ramblers. She loved working on her art work which she has received many awards for.
She is survived by her loved ones: fiancé, William "Bill" Eldridge of Topeka; father, Larry F. Cook of Barnett, MO; brother, Randy (Jeannie) Cook of Eldon, MO; a dear friend she considered as a sister, Kelly Wilt and her husband, Donnie North of Topeka; step-sister, Tanya (Shanon) Ponder of Barnett, MO; step-brothers, Johnny H. Fields III of Barnett, MO and Larry T. Fields of Versailles, MO; grandmother, Doris Uhl of Scranton, KS; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Cook; step-sister, Katrina Stark; step-mother, Jeanie Cook and her mother, Carolyn Cook.
