Alice Louise Kueckels

Alice Louise Kueckels, 92, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully at the Brookside Retirement Community in Overbrook, Kansas on September 29, 2022. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Henry Humphrey and Adeline Gladys (Jeffery) Lindsey.
Alice graduated from Newport High School in Newport, KY and received a diploma from the Miller School of Business in Cincinnati, OH. She was a homemaker and had a passion for painting, cats, cooking, gardening and boating. She was an active member of the Zion United Church of Christ and a past member of the Cincinnati Power Squadron.
Alice married Norman Otto Kueckels, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her beloved cat.
Survivors include children, Lynne Harms (Jerry Ellenberger) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nancy Kueckels-Averill (Mark Averill) of Ann Arbor, Michigan, David Kueckels (Peggy Kenney) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Eric Kueckels (Brenda) of Mount Baldy, California, and grandchildren Lindsey, Zachary and Rose.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Alice's life and private inurnment at the Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, KY will be done at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Zion United Church of Christ located at 2301 Indian Mound Ave, Norwood OH 45212.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
