Alice Emma-Dorothy Morford, 94, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022.
She was born September 27, 1928, in Wabaunsee County, KS, the daughter of Edward C. and Margaret K. (Pageler) Brase.
Alice was a homemaker and a member of Christ Lutheran Church, of Topeka.
Alice married Arthur W. "Art" Morford on June 1, 1947. He preceded her in death on June 19, 2010.
Survivors include her children, James (Peggy) Morford, Ann (Jack) Wasson both of Topeka, KS and John Morford of Texas; 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and brother, Raymond (Carol) Brase of Wamego, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carl Brase; sister, Edna Litke and grandchild, Clinton Morford.
Alice enjoyed quilting, gardening and fishing.
A Funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Dove Cremations and Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd., Topeka, KS 66610. The family will greet friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 820 SW Auburn Rd., Topeka, KS 66615.
