Alla Marie Tarasyn, 70, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Legacy in Topeka. She was born December 14, 1947 in Germany, the daughter of John and Marie (Saganski) Tarasyn.
Alla came to the United States and resided in Topeka at the age of eight. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1966.
Survivors include her sister, Alexandra (Craig) Johnson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, one niece, Larisa of San Francisco, California and one nephew, Ross of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The family would like to thank Great Lakes Caring Hospice including Laurel, RN, Suzane, SW, Tashanna, HHA and Jay, RN and many other associates and The Legacy on 10th Care Facility's caring staff for their great care of Alla.
Cremation has taken place and private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family.
