Allison Louise McClure Bean, 56, Topeka, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006 at her home.
She was born March 5, 1950 in Topeka, the daughter of Robert and Virginia McClure, and graduated from Topeka West High School.
Mrs. Bean worked as a meter reader for the City of Topeka, and was a homemaker. She was a talented water color painter.
Mrs. Bean was prededed in death by her father, Robert McClure, Sr., a brother, Robert McClure, Jr., a step-brother, Johnny Brier, and a daughter, Lesley Bean.
She married Marvin Bean on March 5, 1981. He survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Fran Elizabeth Euwer and Faye Augusta Bean, both of Topeka, Emiley Seymour, Centreville, VA; her mother and step-father, Virginia and John Brier, Topeka; three brothers, Henry and Matt McClure, Topeka, John McClure, Denver; two step-brothers, Tim Jones, Pocahontas, IA, Peter Brier, Wichita; two step-sisters, Candace Russell, Dallas, TX, Jamie Brier, Topeka; three half sisters, Katrina Shepardson, Nashville, TN, Leanne Kroft, Silver Lake, Kelly Cook, St. Cloud, MN; two half brothers, Leonard Shepardson, Fayetteville, TN, Karl Shepardson, Barnes, KS; six grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. A time of remembrance will be held from 4-6 p.m. Monday in the parish hall at St. David's Episcopal Church.
