Amanda L. Nicholas

Amanda L. Nicholas age 29, of Topeka, Kansas passed away September 24, 2016. She was born January 6, 1987, at Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Stanley L. and Sandra D. (Moses) Nicholas. Amanda attended Topeka High School and Park Hill High School in Parkville, Missouri. She was employed as a security guard.

Amanda was artistic, loved her nieces and nephews, enjoyed music and the outdoors, fishing, bon fires, barbecues and spending time with her family and friends.

Amanda is survived by her father Stan Nicholas and her mother Sandra Moses; four sisters: Melissa Nicholas, Kendra Ewing, Erika Newman and Elizabeth Nicholas; grandmothers: Beverly Nicholas and Gladys Hargis; grandfather Truman Nicholas; and her nieces and nephews: Damien Armstrong, Emma Armstrong, Madison Benfer, Evan Nicholas and Aiden Newman. She was preceded in death by her sister Angela M. Nicholas, her grandmother Karen Moses and her grandfather Warren Hargis.

Funeral services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 1:00PM. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the funeral service.

Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th Topeka, Kansas.
