Amber L. Fleer, 31, of Topeka, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014. She was born September 21, 1982 in Topeka, the daughter of Terry Fleer and Darla L. (Broughton) Hughes.
Amber was raised in Topeka and she graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 2001. During high school, Amber was very involved with the Special Olympics. She loved art, music and most of all, her daughter, Addison.
Amber is survived by her father, Terry Fleer; mother, Darla L. (Broughton) Hughes; daughter, Addison Fleer; brothers, Chad and Jonathan Fleer; sister, Brandy Fleer Cunningham; grandmothers, Joyce Wentworth and Beverly Broughton, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 11th at the Mt. Hope Chapel, 4700 SW 17th Street in Topeka. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Addison Fleer Benefit Fund, c/o Quest Credit Union, 610 SW 10th Street, Topeka, KS 66612.
