Amy Dawn Southall, 30, Topeka, died Saturday, December 20, 2003. She was born July 14, 1973, the daughter of Edmund W. Southall and Dawn A. Coffman Southall. She was a lifelong Topeka resident.
She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1991. She married Howard Carrier in 1997, they were divorced.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Burnell G. and Marjory Kay Southall.
She is survived by her three adoring children Kira Dawn Carrier, Serena Mae Carrier and Takoda Andrew Carrier. Her parents; two sisters Angie K. Turnbow and Ashley A. "Annie" Southall, a brother Edmund W. "Skipper" Southall II; grandparents Harland D. and Donna J. Eraas Coffman; two nieces Raven and Tory Southall; two nephews Edmund W. "Izaiah" Southall III and Brett Ray Turnbow; a loving friend Christopher Valdivia and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; children's paternal grandparents Debra K. Fleming and Christopher Valdivia Sr. and Mary "Jodi" Valdivia.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2003 at Penwell-Gabel Highland Chapel. Cremation will follow. Ms. Southall will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. on Friday and the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
