Andrea Mott

Andrea Lynn Mott, 32, of K.C., KS, unexpectedly passed away Wed., Oct. 7, 2009, at Menorah Medical Center. She was born Dec. 14, 1976, the daughter of Donald Mott and Karen (Southers) Mott.

Andrea was a 1995 graduate of Topeka High School. While in High School she participated in the marching band.

She was currently employed by Sprint.

Survivors include her father, Donald (Jill) Mott, Topeka; mother, Karen Mott, Medford, OR; three children, Rochelle Mott, Kevin Cruz, Natalia Cruz all of the home; one sister. Marlana Mott, Junction City, KS; one brother, Travis Mott, Topeka; one step brother, Travis Fitzgibbon, Tacoma, WA; and her grandmother, Wilma Mott, Topeka, KS. She was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Lynn Mott and her grandfather Verbal W. Mott.

Andrea will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 14, 2009 at the funeral home followed by entombment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
