Angela Dawn Roberts

Angela Dawn Roberts, 46, went to be with Jesus, September 6, 2014. Angela was born July 18, 1968 in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Patrick and Catherine Sims.

Angela was raised in Hutchinson and graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1986. After high school, Angela joined the U.S. Army and was a Private 1st Class and was a member of the Military Police. She served during the Panama Conflict and was Honorably Discharged in 1989. Angela went on to become a Store Manager for Dillon's Foods.

Angela was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Topeka and enjoyed working in her flower gardens.

Angela is survived by her two loving children, Casey and Madison Roberts of the home, and step-son, Dustin Roberts. Other survivors include her parents, Patrick and Catherine Sims of Hutchinson; brothers, Paul and Ryan Sims of Hutchinson; grandmother, Anna Hostutler of Hutchinson, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Angela was cremated. A Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Topeka. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Angela Sims-Roberts Children's Education Fund at Envista Credit Unions. Arrangements in Hutchinson are pending.
