Anna M. Kahler Morehead

Anna M. "Annie" Kahler Morehead, 80, of Topeka, passed away May 19, 2014. She was born December 2, 1933, in Maple Hill, Kansas, the daughter of George and Anna Mary Beyer Kahler.
Anna was a graduate of Dover High School and had worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a mail sorter for many years. She was a member of Dover Federated Church.
On September 30, 1950, in Topeka, Anna married Donald D. Morehead. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2013.
Survivors include daughter, Ella Denise (Don) Grubb; son, James Ivan Morehead; four grandchildren, Aaron Grubb, Aimee (Mark) Fewell, James D. Morehead, and Tripp Fulton; and great-granddaughter, Kaylee Grubb-Portillo.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at Dover Federated Church. Inurnment will be at a later date in Dover Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road, Topeka.
