Anna Mae Marshbank, 93, passed away Monday, March 12 at Midland Hospice in Topeka. She was born near Abilene, Kansas on August 7, 1918, the daughter of Boyd and Gladys (Warner) Nemechek. Anna Mae "Candy" worked as a Medical Technologist at the Abilene Memorial Hospital for over thirty years.
She leaves a son, Glen Marshbank of Topeka, a brother Carl Nemechek of Salina, KS and a sister, Doris Cryderman of Scranton, KS, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and twenty nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Anna Mae was cremated and graveside services in Abilene, KS are pending. Donations may be made in Anna's name to the Topeka Helping Hands Humane Society, Topeka, KS, or the children's department of the Abilene Public Library, Abilene, KS.
