Anna Loree Worthington, 85, of Topeka passed away on August 29, 2017 at Midland Hospice House. Born on December 3, 1931, in Garnett, Kansas, she was the daughter of William "Hubert" and Edna (Kramer) Goins.
She graduated from Perry High School in 1949.
Loree married Gerald Worthington on July 15, 1950. He preceded her in death.
She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield. Previously she drove a school bus for the Shawnee Heights School District for several years.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loree was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved traveling, her pets and gardening.
Loree was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, Richard Goins and a sister, Thelma Worthington.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Scott) McIver of Lawrence, Kansas, and Gerri (Doug) Dawson of Wentzville, MO, a son, William (Carolyn) Worthington of Silver Lake, Kansas, four grandchildren; Miles (Marvin Delgado) McIver of Friant, California, Leslie (John Flores) McIver of San Carlos, California, William (Maggie) Worthington of Silver Lake, Kansas and Amie (Ryan Cook) Worthington of Topeka, Kansas, five great-grandchildren; Kaelyn and Logan Worthington, Braden Neria and Sophia and Gino Flores and a sister, Tessye Dome of Oskaloosa, Kansas.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
