Anthony Joel "Tony" Mead, 36, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
He was born September 13, 1984, in Lawrence, Kansas, the son of Joel and Lois (Amick) Mead.
Tony attended Lawrence High School. He was a member of the Juggalo Family and a Ghost Adventurer enthusiast. He had been on several ghost hunts including the Sallie House with the Crum Family.
Tony enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a love for children and parenting came very natural even when they were not his kids. He lived life to the fullest and he will be sorely missed by all of those that knew and loved him.
Tony married Emily Serene Smail on April 20, 2019 in Auburn, Kansas.
Survivors include his wife and son, Emily Smail and Mason Mead of Topeka; his sister, Angela Mead of Wichita, KS; three nieces, Maya Frazier, Candace Brown and Adrianne Brown.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Honoring Tony's request, cremation is planned. A celebration of Tony's life will be held at a later date.
