Anthony Strange, Jr., 21, Topeka, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014.
Anthony was born November 25, 1992 in Topeka, the son of Anthony and Tessa (Mcfalls) Strange. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 2011 and attended Washburn University.
He was active in sports, playing football and had received a scholarship to play in college.
Survivors include his parents; sisters, Shawnnicka and Michelle Ross; brother, Michael Ross, all of Topeka; grandparents, Pearl Stenson, Dennis Stenson, Charles Strange and Imogene McFalls; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; fiancée, Mercedes Marie Miles and unborn daughter, Audianna La'Vette Strange.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, August 8, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Anthony will lie in state at the funeral home after 3:00 p.m. today and visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
