Anton B. Strafuss, 84, of Horton, passed away Friday, June 7, 2019.
He was born June 20, 1934, in Princeton, KS, the son of K.B. and Mary (Fischer) Strafuss. He was a graduate of Manhattan High School. Anton was a licensed private pilot.
Anton was a farmer in the Manhattan and Effingham, KS areas, retiring in 2001.
He was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church of Horton, KS.
He was survived by three sisters, Esther (Richard) Schultz, Topeka, Irene (Ivan) Wienck, Blue Rapids, KS, and Dorothy Finan, Blaine, KS; brother, Herman Strafuss, Manhattan, KS; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Dr. Albert Strafuss.
A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 17th and SW Stone. Following the rosary the family will receive friends until the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Homewood, KS.
