Arleigh Fleming, 74, of Topeka, walked on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
He was born May 28, 1949, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Sam Andrew and Louise (Maines) Fleming. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War until being honorably discharged after serving two tours of duty.
Arleigh was a career roofer for various companies in the Topeka area until retiring.
He was a member of Citizen Potawatomi Nation.
Survivors include his brother, Ronnie Fleming of Topeka, life partner, Pam Packer and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Donald William Fleming; his parents; and his sisters, Sandra Fisher and Debbie Schmidt.
Arleigh enjoyed working on cars and fishing and was an avid fan of the K.C. Chiefs.
Honoring his request, cremation is planned. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
