Arlene J. McEachern, 82, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at a Topeka care facility. She was born April 11, 1937 in Yates Center, Kansas, the daughter of Ivan and Loraine (Shepard) Rork.
Arlene graduated from Yates Center High School. She was employed by Shawnee County Parks & Recreation for many years before retiring. She was also employed by Medassist. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include one son, John (Melissa) Kennedy of Topeka, two grandchildren, Zane and Jake and one great-grandson, Shaun.
Cremation has taken place and as per Arlene's wishes, no memorial services are planned. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family.
