Arlene J. Whitcomb, 75, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020. She was born March 22, 1945 in Bemidji, Minnesota, the daughter of Lester and Buda (Johnson) Samuelson.
Arlene graduated from Bagley High School in Bagley, Minnesota. She had resided in Topeka since 2010. She was employed by Walmart.
Arlene married Robert H. Whitcomb on December 12, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives. Other survivors include her children, Dana Boesch of Phoenix, Arizona, Rick Macosky of Phoenix, Arizona, George Macosky of Alaska, her step-children, Diane Baysinger of Tecumseh, Cindy Donley of Carbondale, Bobbie Jo Gonzales of Topeka, Robert "Jimmy" Whitcomb of Topeka, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her siblings, Darwin Samuelson of Minnesota, David Samuelson of Minnesota, Karen Johnson of Minnesota and Louise Wheeldon of Nebraska.
Arlene was preceded in death by her siblings, Larry Samuelson, Bruce Samuelson, Dean Johnson and Bonnie Spear.
As per Arlene's wishes, cremation has taken place. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
