Armenda Jane Pusch

Armenda Jane "Mindy" Pusch, 47, of Scranton, KS, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at a Topeka hospital due to surgical complications. Mindy was born September 5, 1966 in Topeka to Doris Ann Nichols-Pusch and Clayton "Carroll" Pusch. They preceded her in death in 2001.

Mindy is survived by her sisters, Yvonne "Voni" Stegman (Rubin) of Fountain, CO, Patricia "Patti" Whitworth (Greg) of Lawrence, KS, a brother, Terry Pusch of Carbondale, KS and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Mindy attended Highland Park High School and colleges at Emporia, Wichita and Nebraska. Mindy will be remembered for her impish smile, quick-wit, and the endless love for dear friends and family. This was especially evident in the affection shown to her niece, D'mi who she named "Peanut" or her great-nephew, Riggin, who she deemed "The Munchkin". Collecting movies, music and pranking friends and family were the things that brought her joy. She would be the first one to let you know that as long as someone stays in your heart, they are never really gone.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Inurnment will follow at Carbondale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
