Arthur E. Von Stetten
Arthur E. von Stetten, 79, of Topeka, KS, formerly of Tulsa, died Monday, August 15, 2011. He was born November 7, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Arthur C. and Diantha (Clarke) von Stetten.
Arthur was raised in Philadelphia, and graduated from Phillips University in Enid, OK. He married Margaret Scott on December 26, 1957 in Wichita, KS. He was employed by and retired from Geigy Pharmaceuticals as sales representative.
Arthur is survived by his daughter, Donna Lechner; grandchildren, Jackie Evans-U.S.N. (Matt), Ryan Lechner, Tanner Lechner-U.S.M.C.; great-grandson, Payton Evans; sister, Nancy Dugan, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret; and sons, Randy and Vince von Stetten.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date in Wichita, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
