Arvin Deubler

Arvin Conrad "Hans" Deubler, 69, of Auburn, died Thursday, December 16, 2004 at Stormont-Vail Hospital.

He was born October 18, 1935 in Johnson, Nebraska, the son of Conrad and Clara Deubler. He graduated from Auburn High School in Johnson. Afterwards, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.

Hans held a distinguished 20 year career in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1974. He was awarded the Bronze Star and two Dec. Fet, A.F. Commendation medals. Hans was employed for 19 years by the Montara sundivision as part of its maintenance personnel.

He was a member of Price of Peace Lutheran Church.

Hans married Patricia Ann Barrett on Nov. 9, 1963, in Pensacola, FL. She died December 19, 2000.

Survivors include a brother, Maurice Deubler; and three sisters, LaDonna Pasco, Janet Ullman, and Janice Ullman and their families.

Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Newcomer Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com.
