Ashley J. Ashwill, 25, of Cheney, Kansas, formerly of Topeka, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022. She was born May 8, 1997 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Scott and Diana (Bradley) Ashwill.
Ashley graduated from Washburn Rural High School where she was a proud member of the marching band. She earned a CNA from Washburn Tech. Ashley was employed by First Student Transportation. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church where she was very active in the youth group.
Survivors include her two children, Ryan Ukena, Tru James, parents, Scott and Diana Ashwill of Topeka, her brother, Brett Ashwill of Topeka, her paternal grandparents, Billy and Carol Ashwill of Topeka, her maternal grandmother, Barbara Bradley of Lee's Summit, Missouri, her great-paternal grandmother, Donna Ragsdale and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Raymond Bradley on March 8, 2008.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2022 at Fellowship Bible Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2022. The family requests the attendees wear bright colors. Cremation will follow the service and private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the Ashley Ashwill Memorial Fund c/o Azura Credit Union, 2808 SW Arrowhead Rd., Topeka, Kansas 66614.
