Aurelia A. Wirtz, 56, Topeka, died Sunday, April 18, 2004 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.
She was born Dec. 2, 1947 in Manila, Phillipines, the daughter of Gregorio and Amparo de Guzman Antonio. She had lived in Topeka for over 10 years, coming from Saipan.
Mrs. Wirtz worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Select Speciality Hospital. She attended First Assembly of God Church and Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene.
She married Salome L. Wirtz on Aug. 7, 1981 in Saipan. He survives.
Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Thursday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Wirtz will lie in state after noon Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Highland Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Aurelia Wirtz memorial fund and sent in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.penwellgabel.com.
