Brandon Lee Cork

Brandon Lee Cork, 41, of Topeka, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 27, 2025.

He was born February 26, 1983, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of John S. and Yong S. (Yi) Cork. He was a 2001 graduate of Hayden High School and attended several colleges, receiving an Associates Degree from Allen County Community College. 

Brandon was employed by Alleviation Behavioral Health Care in Topeka.

Survivors include his parents, John S. and Yong S. Cork of Topeka; paternal grandparents, Marilyn and Don Surmeier of Colby, KS; step maternal grandfather, Edward Calhoun of Topeka; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Yong and Jongmo Yi. 

He was a member of Mater Dei Holy Name Catholic Church in Topeka,

Cremation is planned. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Mater Dei Holy Name Catholic Church, 1114 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604. Please check back for more information.
