Barbara Bennett, 77, of Topeka, passed away Monday, August 28, 2006.
Barbara was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and was a volunteer with the Salvation Army for many years.
Survivors include her daughter, Gina Bennett, and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, DeLone Bennett.
A funeral service for Mrs. Bennett will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 1st at First Church of the Nazarene with burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. There is no visitation, nor will she lie in state. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions are given to the First Church of the Nazarene, 1001 S.W. Buchanan, Topeka, Kansas 66604. Arrangements are with Newcomer Family Funeral Home.
