Barbara J. Fox, 75, Topeka, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008 at Midland Hospice House.

Barbara was born in Topeka, KS on Dec. 21, 1932, the daughter of Clarence and Lena Austin.

Barbara married Fred W. Fox in Topeka, KS on January 15, 1950. They were married for 58 years. Together they had two sons, Larry and Michael. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry in 1979.

She owned and operated Barbara's Draperies for 10 years and was in the Interior Decorating business for 20 years.

Barbara was a member of Christ Lutheran Church for 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Fred and son, Michael both of the home. Granddaughter, Christina (formally of the home) and her husband, Kris Miller, and her three great-grandchildren, Nicholas Hernandez, Maya and Ammi Miller, all of Topeka.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wed., Feb. 13, 2008 at Christ Lutheran Church, 3509 SW Burlingame Rd., Topeka. Interment will follow at Topeka Cemetery. Barbara will lie in state after 3:00 p.m., Tues., Feb. 12 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
