Barbara J. Saxton, 85, of Topeka, passed away May 2, 2013. She was born Sept. 2, 1927 to Earl L. and Lura H. Skidmore Jackson. She was employed by Walgreens in Chicago, IL for 25 years. She worked at the Topeka Truck Plaza from 1973-1994.
Barbara is survived by two brothers, Earl L. Jackson of Kingman, AZ, Albert W. Jackson of Topeka, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, John Jackson, Thomas E. Jackson, Frank L. Jackson, Margaret McGeer, and Loretta D'Orvilliers.
Per her wishes, Barbara was cremated and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Heartland Division, 1313 SW Arrowhead Rd., Topeka, KS 66604 or the American Lung Association, 4300 SW Drury Lane, Topeka, KS 66604.
