Barbara S. Jiskra, 54, of Burlingame, Kansas, passed away November 30, 2014. She was born to Lyle and Mildred Carney in Lincoln, Nebraska on December 4, 1959. She worked at Speedway Motors and then Kawasaki Mfg.
She married Adam Jiskra on July 1, 1995 in Lincoln. They moved to Burlingame in 2013. She enjoyed crafting, restoring old homes and visiting her grandchildren. Barbara loved going to the mountains and beaches and felt especially at peace in nature.
She is survived by her husband, Adam; her daughters, Tabitha (Chris) Hall and Lisa (Andrew) Dein; 7 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Pam Spears, Kathy Eurich and Margie Meyer; and 1 brother, Mike Carney.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel on December 4, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
She married Adam Jiskra on July 1, 1995 in Lincoln. They moved to Burlingame in 2013. She enjoyed crafting, restoring old homes and visiting her grandchildren. Barbara loved going to the mountains and beaches and felt especially at peace in nature.
