Barbara J. Stubbs, 72, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at a Topeka care facility. She was born September 1, 1951 in Topeka, the daughter of Ethel Bailey.
Barbara attended Topeka Public Schools and was employed in the hospitality industry.
Barbara married George E. Stubbs on November 7, 1990 in Omaha, Nebraska. He survives. Other survivors include her son, Michael (Melissa) Bennett of Topeka, one step-son, Tommy Stubbs of Topeka, one granddaughter, Naomi, and one great-grandson, Lukus.
A private Celebration of Barbara's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
