Barbara Sue Blodgett
Barbara S. Blodgett, 66, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011. She was born October 18, 1944 in Topeka, the daughter of Paul J. and Virginia M. (Martin) Morin.
Barbara was raised in Topeka and attended Topeka High School. She made her career as a dental assistant. She is survived by her son, Michael Nixon; daughter, Michelle Thompson; granddaughters Larissa and Brittany Nixon; sister, Donna Johnson; and brother, Don Morin.
Besides spending time with her family, Barbara enjoyed home décor, arts & crafts, tending to her flower garden, and her aquarium of fish.
Per her wishes, Barbara was cremated. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Rd., Topeka, KS 66617.
