Becky D. Smith

Becky Darlene Smith, 45, Topeka, Kansas passed away August 25, 2011. She was born at Aurora, Illinois on July 12, 1966 to Larry D. and Elizabeth Earlene (Dodds) Smith. She was raised in Topeka and attended Seaman High School and Washburn University. Becky worked as a dietary manager at Brighton Place. She enjoyed sewing, traveling and reading. She loved sharing time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Becky is survived by her father, Larry Smith,I, Topeka; mother, Elizabeth Earlene Falter, Topeka; step-father, Wallace Falter, Topeka; son, Samuel Scott Smith, Topeka; 4 granchildren; 3 brothers, Larry Dean Smith,II, Topeka, Scott Smith, Topeka and Allen D. Smith, Ellsworth; 2 sisters, Laurie Smith and Rhonda Drain, both of Topeka; 15 nieces and nephews and 8 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

A celebration of Becky's life is planned for September 9, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Crestview Shelter House. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Cancer Institute in care of KU Medical Center, 3901 Rainbow Blvd. Kansas City, Kansas 66103
