Belinda Marie Rentie, born on January 31, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025, in her beloved hometown. A dedicated nurse for over 40 years, Belinda committed her life to caring for others, embodying a tough exterior that belied a deeply caring and helpful nature. She touched countless lives with her compassionate spirit, always eager to provide comfort and support to those in need.
Belinda graduated early at the age of 17 and received her CNA License through Job Corp, marking the beginning of a lifelong journey in the field of nursing. Her professional accomplishments were matched only by her pride in her family, particularly her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and fulfillment.
A cherished member of her family, Belinda was known for creating close bonds, particularly during the Christmas season, when the warmth of family gatherings was at its peak. She was always looking out for her loved ones and found great happiness in spending quality time with her son, Marchael Rentie.
In her leisure time, Belinda found solace in reading, listening to music, and enjoying the company of friends and family. Her presence will be sorely missed, not only for her nurturing spirit but also for the laughter and love she brought into the lives of those around her.
Belinda is survived by her son, Marchael Rentie; sister, Debbie Young; brother, Mark Rentie; grandchildren; and many nephews.
