Belva Marie Fox, 83, of Leawood, Kansas passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 20, 2018.
She was born April 22, 1935 in Ozawkie, Kansas, the daughter of Jacob and Zelma Ruth (Lowe) Brey. She was a 1953 graduate of Ozawkie Rural High School.
She was a member of United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, Leawood, KS.
Belva married Kenneth Fox on October 6, 1957 in Ozawkie, Kansas. During her husband's long career in banking, Belva's family lived in Topeka, KS, Kansas City, KS, Moberly, MO, St. Louis, MO and Sedalia, MO. Kenneth preceded her in death on November 15, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Loreta Zwygart and Ceona Michaelson
She is survived by her sons, Kenton (Hilaire), Kevin (Nancy), and Darrin Fox; two grandchildren, Deborah and Yvonne; and four brothers, Alfred Brey of Sabetha, Charles Brey of Oskaloosa, and Dale and Eldon Brey, both of Topeka.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka. A graveside service will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday at Ozawkie Cemetery, Ozawkie, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission, PO Box 8350, Topeka, KS 66608 (please include the name Belva Fox in the memo field).
