Benjamin Munoz, 92, Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.
Ben was born April 29, 1926 in Topeka, the son of Martiniamo and Mary (Mendoza) Munoz.
He was a member of Mater Dei, Assumption parish.
Ben married Mary Alice Yniguez on May 13, 1950 in Chicago. She died October 12, 2013. Survivors include daughters, Stephanie Shirey, Roseann (Tim) Flagg, all of Topeka, Andrea (Randy) Gomez, Liberty, MO; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ramon Munoz, John Munoz (deceased); and sister, Mary Munoz.
Cremation has taken place and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 with the Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Both will be held at Mater Dei, Assumption Church.
Dove Southwest Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
