Bernard Joseph Gallegos

Bernard Joseph Gallegos, age 88, passed away at St. Francis Health Center in Topeka, KS, on Saturday, December 12, 2015.
Born in Torrington, Wyoming, he lived in Los Angeles before settling in Osage City, KS. He served in the United States Army from May 1945 to June 1946. He worked at Spot-Not Car Wash for several years until retiring in 2001.
Survivors include his daughters, Katherine, Debra and Theresa and step-daughter, Sheryl; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Further survivors include his sister, Florence, along with nieces and nephews. Bernard was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, two sisters and one brother.
Private services will be held. Memorial contributions may be mailed to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, KS 66604.
